Findings about tooth condition, available bone, infection or anatomical structures may affect suitability and change the procedures, appointment count, treatment stages, stay or return visits, and final quotation. Ask the treating dentist to explain findings, recommendations and alternatives before agreeing.

Do not assume that a tourist visa exemption covers a trip for dental treatment. Turkish visa guidance includes a medical-treatment visa category. UK entry guidance directs medical-purpose travellers to check visa information, and Canadian travel guidance states that a medical visa is required for travel to seek medical services. Confirm the route applicable to your own treatment trip with the Turkish embassy or consulate.
