What we mean by medical aesthetics

Medical aesthetics covers non-surgical treatments that soften lines, restore volume or improve skin quality — performed by doctors in a medical setting, not in a salon. The treatments we coordinate are carried out at Otek Polyclinic, a Ministry-of-Health-licensed medical outpatient facility in Antalya. Otek Polyclinic provides the clinical treatment; New Look Smile Group manages your assessment, plan, travel and aftercare.

An honest word before you read on

Most injectable treatments are temporary and widely available close to home. On their own they are rarely a reason to fly. Where they make sense is alongside a trip you are already making — a smile makeover, dental implants or a hair transplant — where a doctor-led clinic, the time you already have in Antalya and a coordinated plan add real value. If a treatment would not be worth it for you, we will say so.

Botox — anti-wrinkle injections

What it does

Botulinum toxin type A relaxes the specific muscles that fold the skin into expression lines. Treated areas soften over days, with the full effect around two weeks, and the result gradually wears off over several months as muscle activity returns. It is a treatment for dynamic lines caused by movement — not for volume loss or sagging.

Areas treated at our partner clinic

  • Upper face: forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet
  • Lower face and function: masseter (jaw slimming, teeth grinding), gummy smile, lip flip, nasal tip lift, downturned mouth corners
  • Neck and medical: neck bands, excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine, administered by a doctor after a medical assessment. Dose, areas and suitability are individual, and it is not appropriate for everyone — including during pregnancy or breastfeeding and with certain neuromuscular conditions. Read the full Botox guide →

Lip filler and dermal fillers

Lip filler

Hyaluronic acid filler placed to add subtle volume, define the border, improve symmetry or hydrate lips that have thinned with age. The aim at a doctor-led clinic is a natural result in proportion to your face, not an obvious one. Results are temporary and the filler can be dissolved if ever needed. Other filler areas

  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Cheekbones, jawline and chin
  • Temples and tear troughs (under-eye hollows)

Fillers restore or shape volume; they do not lift loose skin or replace surgery. The doctor advises which areas, if any, would give a balanced result.

Mesotherapy and skin boosters

Facial and under-eye mesotherapy

Micro-injections of vitamins, hyaluronic acid and other actives into the skin to improve hydration, tone and texture. Usually planned as a course rather than a single session.

Skin boosters, polynucleotides and PRP

Injectable skin boosters, polynucleotide (PN/PDRN) treatments and platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, used for skin quality on the face and for the scalp alongside hair treatments.

Hands, neck and décolleté

Rejuvenation treatments for areas that show age early and are often overlooked. Discussed case by case with the doctor.

How aesthetic treatments fit into your trip

You send photos and tell us what bothers you. The doctor reviews them and advises which treatment, if any, is likely to help — and which would not. Where you are already travelling for dental or hair treatment, the aesthetic appointment is scheduled around it: for example, injectables are timed so that swelling does not interfere with dental impressions or the trial smile, and the sequence is confirmed in your written plan.

Safety, risks and who may not be suitable

All injectable treatments carry risks, including bruising, swelling, tenderness, asymmetry, infection and — rarely with fillers — blockage of a blood vessel that needs urgent treatment. This is exactly why we only coordinate injectables at a licensed medical clinic where doctors assess, treat and manage complications. Treatments are for adults only; pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infection, certain medical conditions and some medications rule treatments out or change the plan. Individual results vary and no outcome is guaranteed.

Pricing

Aesthetic treatments are quoted in writing after assessment, as part of your overall plan. We do not publish per-area prices here because the right dose, product and number of sessions are individual — and a price list tends to drive decisions that should be made with a doctor. You will always know the full cost before you book, and we never take a deposit.

Common questions

Who performs the treatments?

Doctors at Otek Polyclinic, a Ministry-of-Health-licensed medical facility in Antalya. Injectables are prescribed and administered after a medical assessment, not by beauticians.

Can I have Botox or filler on the same trip as dental treatment?

Often, yes — with the timing planned so swelling does not affect dental work or photographs. Your plan sets out the order of appointments.

How long do results last?

Botox typically wears off over several months; hyaluronic acid fillers commonly last from several months to over a year depending on the area, product and your metabolism. Skin treatments are usually courses with maintenance. Exact expectations are discussed at assessment.

Is it worth flying to Turkey just for aesthetics?

Usually not on its own — and we would rather tell you that than book you. It becomes worthwhile when combined with dental or hair treatment, or where you want doctor-led treatment and a coordinated plan.

What if I do not like the result?

Botox wears off naturally. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme where appropriate. You have our 24/7 patient line after treatment and we coordinate any follow-up with the clinic.
