What is a smile makeover?

A smile makeover is not one fixed dental procedure. It is an individual treatment plan that may combine cosmetic and restorative dentistry — in whatever mix your case actually needs — depending on your current oral health, existing teeth, bite, facial proportions, aesthetic goals and functional needs. Treatment should be selected according to clinical needs and long-term oral health, not simply from a standard package.

Is this a “Hollywood smile”?

“Hollywood smile” is the name much of the industry uses for a full set of veneers or crowns. We plan the same transformation — but conservatively: the least drilling your case allows, proper materials, and a result designed to look like you. The trial smile — see it before it’s final

Where your plan includes a temporary or trial stage, you and the dental team review shape, proportion, bite and overall appearance before final restorations are made. If you don’t like something, that is the moment it changes — the design is adjusted until you approve it, not defended after it’s fixed.

How many teeth should be treated?

There is no universal number of teeth for a smile makeover. It depends on your smile width, how many teeth are visible when you smile, the condition of your existing teeth, the treatment type, functional requirements and your preference. Treating fewer teeth well beats treating more teeth unnecessarily — and your plan reflects that.

Risks, limitations and maintenance

Some cosmetic procedures are irreversible where enamel is prepared; restorations require ongoing maintenance, and repairs or replacements may be needed over time. Sensitivity can occur after preparation, and individual results vary.
